In the beginning of March, the Galileo Coating Technologies factory produced the first batch of paper and board selectively metallized using Flexomet© technology.

Selective metallization opens wide horizons for companies striving to make their products stand out and be protected at the same time.

The method for getting a selected print is based on closing specific stretches with a protective layer of oil, which prevents uninterrupted metal layers from forming. It is impossible to replicate such a design without similar equipment, and there are only several such machines in the world, including one at GCT’s factory in Russia.

The Flexomet technology offers really unique opportunities for making the packaging and label designs. which will be duly appreciated by the FMCG market – its confectionary, beer, alcohol beverage, cosmetics and other industries.
